Construction Grout

Construction Grout is a general purpose shrinkage compensated (Class A) cementitious, flowable or trowellable grout for gap thicknesses from 10 mm up to 100 mm.

Typical Applications

  • General site grouting and precast panel erection

Advantages

  • Gaseous expansion system compensates for shrinkage
  • and settlement in the plastic state
  • High ultimate strength and low permeability ensure the
  • durability of the hardened grout
  • Can be dry packed, rammed, trowelled, poured and pumped
  • No metallic iron content to cause staining
  • Prepackaged material overcomes potential on-site batching variations
  • 28 day strength @ 20°C dependent on consistency (cube samples) : 53-65MPa
  • Application method : Dry pack, trowel, pour or pump
  • Chemical resistance : Not resistant to acids - use epoxy grouts
  • Flexural Strength (modulus of rupture) @ 28 days : 85MPa
  • Gap size : 10mm to 100mm
  • Indirect tensile strength @ 28 days : 60MPa
  • Service temperature : >200°C
  • Set time : 7 hours
  • Tack free time : 400-600mm
